Dalloway Terrace – Bloomsbury Countryside in the heart of London
Beyond excited receiving an invitation to one of the most talked-about restaurants in London. Dalloway Terrace is reminiscent of a beautiful countryside escape. The words, which best describe are without question beautiful, breath taking, countryside charm, elegant decor and an Instagram dream! Stepping on to the terrace away from the bustle of London was a haven of peace, tranquillity and beauty.
The beautiful flower arrangement courtesy London’s finest florist Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart, the menu features the most delicious botanical cocktails. Dalloway Terrace’s very own Giovanni Spezziga, in partnership with Ramsbury Distillery, has created the seasoned cocktail menu.
This summer Dalloway Terrace wanted to transport guests to the magical tranquillity of the British countryside. Over the years The Bloomsbury Group has acquired houses outside of London, a few miles south of Hungerford, 10 miles from the Ramsbury Estate and the appropriately named cocktails perfectly encapsulates the countryside. The cocktail menu features gems such as; Ramsbury Reviver with Ramsbury gin, lillet blanc, Triple Sec, lemon juice, Absinth, quince jelly; The Estate Spritz, Ramsbury Vodka, apple liqueur, and tonic.
The Dalloway Terrace
Discover the Dalloway Terrace beautifully embedded in the boutique-style hotel Bloomsbury London. The Bloomsbury is set in London’s literary heartland – the historic and vibrant 18th century Bloomsbury neighbourhood. Superbly located, the hotel is close to the British Museum, Covent Garden, London’s lively Soho; as well as Oxford Street and the eclectic department store, Liberty. Quintessentially English Dalloway Terrace is the perfect place to experience elegant and refined Afternoon Tea and all-day dining, brunch, lunch, and dinner under the stars, while enjoying the aroma of the most beautiful display of flowers, a countryside paradise. First impressions are beautiful and elegant the perfect place to spend time with friends over a glass of perfectly chilled champagne or a signature Dalloway cocktail. The beautiful flowers creeping over one side of the Terrace create a stunning explosion of colour, giving homage to its English heritage. The restaurant has a chilled and relaxed feel, although you can hear the echoes of chatter and laughter as the sun streams unobtrusively through the terrace. Dalloway Terrace is a perfect place to spend time with friends or your loved one in the heart of Bloomsbury London.
New summer all-day Brunch
This summer sees the all-day brunch serving an array of fresh, healthy options. We were greeted by the friendliest host who went through the menu in detail, spoilt for choice we took a while to decide as there is a large selection to choose from. We were served customary bread, Guinness brown bread, London Fields seeded organic and organic sourdough, the perfect start to our culinary feast. The host then suggested a bottle of wine to accompany the choice of dishes; we were served with a Rosé Wine Provence Rose Domaine du grand 2018.
Our cocktail choices were; Miss Dalloway Fruit Cup, Ramsbury Vodka, Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao, Martini Reserva Speciale, Aromatic Bitter, Sassy Cidre and the classic The Ramsbury gin and tonic, Ramsbury Gin, tonic water served with the ‘Piece de Resistance Ramsbury Botanical Box to garnish at your leisure, the cocktails were amazing with a beautiful balance of fragrance, flavour and a visual delight. The brunch choices were; Fragrant Thai Summer Rolls, ginger and sesame dipping sauce, these were extremely tasty. Avocado, grilled plum tomato, Bloomsbury chillies and toasted sourdough, the flavours were delicate and delicious. Crispy corn tortillas with guacamole, black bean, chilli and coriander, so beautifully presented and flavoursome. The main choices were; grilled organic Salmon, herb, and butter that just melted in the mouth. To accompany these heavenly dishes our sides were steamed buttered spinach and luxury on a plate truffle and Parmesan fries. Neither of us could contain our excitement to try the dessert offering. The host said the Summer Pavlova was the best he has had in the world… he wasn’t lying we were in a daze, the seasonal berries and Chantilly cream were just delicious and the envy of our fellow diners, we were not prepared to share! The second out of body experience was the Chocolate and Coconut Pannacotta, honeycomb garnishing, we were both silent taking in that special moment of decadence!
The conclusion

Calling all Instagram dinners your Instagram will be the envy of many. A perfect quintessential dining experience for friends, family and loved ones to leave a lasting memory of the beautiful English Summer.
